Early Sunday morning

Well yesterday was a success with our garage sale and next week will be another attempt to purge more items. We have decided to put all the money earned toward our new home. We know we will need to get some new items such as window coverings. It sure feels nice to get rid of the items that seemed to weigh us down.

Today is normal laundry, cleaning and grocery shopping. Need to do some straightening up the basement but it is more empty than before.

Hoping this week will be easy to get thru, I have been thinking a lot about my dad these past weeks and coming up to 10 years since we lost him my heart has been pretty heavy. I keep remembering the events that we were doing. My parents on vacation, we were packing and moving. The last conversation I had with him and laughing about how he had a story for me when he got home.  Not knowing I would never hear the story. Miss you Daddy! Thank you for being there whenever I needed you. Being the model of the man I wanted to spend my life with, which I found with my husband.

Life has moved on and my children are nearly grown. As my title of my blog states Life is a roller coaster, which I took from the movie "Parenthood" you never know what to expect but it sure is a thrill ride.
