Here in Colorado we have been dealing with a lot this year. First fires at the beginning of summer to end with flash floods and so much rain. In my 40 plus years I have never seen such destruction by mother nature in my home state. Last week we went to Loveland for the weekend that was planned for months just to have it rain the entire weekend. Though we got to our concerts (Bill Cosby and Alabama) the day trip to Boulder was cancelled since the roads were damaged.
We are still working on getting our house sold and the new one is under construction.
My daughter insists she is going to go against the grain and not do her school work at all. It has been a constant battle with her. I have caught her with lying and sneaking trying to do whatever the hell she wants. I am so ready to look for an alternative school for her. Tough decisions to make and it is sooo hard to be a parent. Just another roller coaster ride in life.

24 years and still going strong.
A week ago my husband and I celebrated our 24th anniversary of marriage. It is hard to believe all that has happened in those years. We experienced job loss, graduation from college, hard financial times and then all the good times. We had two beautiful children. As we grow older we know that we will be together and love and support each other through it all. I Love you honey with all my heart. Here is to the next 24 years.
